Just to clarify. This actually happened. I ruined life’s most important events, all the time.

Trying out a lot of different instruments was fun. Getting good at any of them, on the other hand, was work. Some of those instruments had a lot of rules and complexities that I struggled with. The slide trombone had none of that! It was a guessing-man’s game. It was the wild west of horns. Slide it til you find it!
