At school, anything that was “a thing” would eventually get weaponized and then suddenly outlawed. Marbles, paperclips and rubber bands, yo-yos... especially yo-yos!

If you give a kid a 70g piece of hard plastic on the end of a string, you’ve given them a weapon. That’s your fault.

Pencil fighting was one of those things that was so simple that after playing it once, you would want to figure out how to make it more dangerous and more exciting. And more illegal.
