This actually happened… except for the Raccoon part. After the ‘71 earthquake and the ongoing atomic bomb scares, my school overcompensated with drills and explicit first aid information. At one point they asked us to choose a class leader to take over the care of the students in case the teacher died.

With shooter drills and wildfire drills (and tornado drills), I wonder if graham crackers will ever taste the same again.
