My mom would never, ever let a visitor leave the house without taking food. I know that's not unique. Most moms will do that.

But I've seen her chase a visitor to their car with a half gallon of milk, just in case their kids get thirsty on the 20 minute drive home.

I've also seen her stuff whole bananas wrapped in paper towels into visitor's coat pockets without them knowing it... like some kind of reverse-pickpocket!
