THE CERTIFIED KING OF THE SPORTS

I rode my bike to and from lots of disasters. My short career in elementary school sports involved both. Later, I found my true sport in marching band. As I would argue, “Marching band is a like a sport! There is a grassy field and uniforms involved!”

There were corporal punishment permission slips handed out every year and my dad made a point of plussing up the reasons to spank us. I don’t blame him. Have you met us?

PS. I don’t agree with corporal punishment in any form.
