DRUGS PARTY

The Quick Stop was a candy and comic book store that also sold other things like food, gas and other non-comic book and candy items.

It was .8 miles from my house but seemed so much farther away at the time. It was almost as if the more you wanted to get there, the farther it got.

Sometimes I’d even pack a snack to walk all that way to go buy a snack.
